Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues,
It is a pleasure to invite you to our 7th Annual Internal Medicine Update Conference, to be held at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi from 14–16 November 2025.
The Organizing Committee and Scientific Committee have made every effort to select the latest topics most relevant to your practice. We have invited distinguished faculty speakers from a broad spectrum of medical specialties, who are leaders in their respective fields. The three-day conference will be divided into multiple sessions covering various medical specialties. Each session will comprise 4 to 5 lectures.
We look forward to your participation and feedback in helping us improve our annual conference year after year. Once again, it will be an honor to welcome you to CCAD from 14–16 November 2025.

Physicians

Physicians are licensed medical professionals who diagnose, treat, and help prevent a wide range of health conditions. They provide patient-centered care through medical evaluations, treatment plans, and ongoing health management.

Internists

Internists are physicians who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases in adults. They provide comprehensive, long-term care and manage both common and complex medical conditions across all body systems.

Hospitalists

Hospitalists are physicians who specialize in the care of patients during their hospital stay. They manage treatment, coordinate with specialists, and ensure continuous, high-quality care from admission to discharge.

Medical Subspecialists

Medical subspecialists are physicians with advanced training in a specific area of internal medicine. They focus on diagnosing and treating complex conditions related to organs or systems such as the heart, lungs, kidneys, or digestive tract.

GPs

General Practitioners (GPs) are primary care physicians who provide comprehensive medical care for patients of all ages. They diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, manage chronic illnesses, and offer preventive care and health education.

Medical Residents

Medical residents are licensed physicians undergoing specialized training in a hospital or clinical setting after graduating from medical school. They provide patient care under supervision while gaining hands-on experience in their chosen field of medicine.

Medical Students

Medical students are individuals enrolled in a medical school program, training to become physicians. They study medical sciences and gain clinical experience through supervised rotations in hospitals and clinics.

Learning Objectives

Apply and integrate updated, evidence-based medical information and techniques into clinical practice to achieve optimal outcomes in the care of internal medicine patients.

Enhance skills in diagnosing and managing common medical conditions related to the practice of internal medicine and its subspecialties to ensure the highest quality of care.
